Yin)於 2024 年 1 月 7 日安祥逝世。遺屬於 1 月 16日星期二上午11時於臺灣臺北市辛亥路第二殯儀館景仰樓,舉行簡易追思禮拜。「扶輪 出版委員會」前主任委員暨國際扶輪前理事謝三連、前總監黃金豹、謝炎盛、蕭慶淋、洪武男 等前往致哀。「台灣扶輪出版暨網路資訊協會」秘書長王友民、執行秘書邵玉楚、秘書處職員 賴豐富三人,奉派代表該會暨邱世文理事長弔唁。 尹彤於 1925 年生於中國大陸江蘇省。他畢業於蘇州一所通信技術學院,曾加入中華民國 空軍擔任信號官;曾在臺灣石門水庫建設工程擔任翻譯;也曾在國防部工作過。 1960年6 月,尹彤開始擔任臺北扶輪社(Taipei Rotary Club)的執行秘書。臺北社是第二 次世界大戰後,臺灣第一個復社的扶輪社(英語社)。他奉命將扶輪的重要出版物,包括《扶 輪程序手冊》(Manual of Procedure)譯成中文,提供給該社輔導成立的國語社及台語社參考。 他在臺北社理事會邀請下,於 1962年7月加入該社為現職社員。 尹彤自中文《扶輪季刊》創刊未久,即開始投稿譯稿,並於 1988 年 7 月起應聘擔任《扶 輪雙月刊》主編。他於 1990 年 7 月經「扶輪出版委員會」核准,將雙月刊改為月刊。在華語 成為國際扶輪支援語文之前, 「扶輪出版委員會」參與國際扶輪的翻譯試辦計畫。由尹彤在主 編任內負責每年譯印二十多本重要扶輪出版物,用於訓練扶輪社的職員及各委員會主委。每三…

Lai) (1921-2022) 是翻譯學者、書畫家,是香港西區扶輪社(Hong Kong Island West Rotary Club)第十四屆 1967-1968年度社長。 賴恬昌出生於 1921 年香港的書香世代,父親是晚清翰林學士賴際熙太史,曾任大清國翰 林院編修國史館總纂。1911 年辛亥革命後,清帝遜位,部分翰林學士包括賴際熙、區大典等遺 老避居香江。1927 年,參與香港大學中文學院(School of Chinese Studies, University of Hong Kong)創立,賴際熙、區大典受聘教授史學和經學。人稱「賴太史」的賴際熙,與愛護國粹人 士倡議保存發揚中華傳統文化,聚書講學。1920年先租下港島中環半山堅道27號(No.27, Caine Road)設壇講國學,每周兩次。及至1923年,賴太史見報名者踴躍,乃建議成立「學海書樓」 。 得到殷商名流踴躍捐資,購下般含道 20號(No.20, Bonham Road)作為藏書和講學之所。 1963年,學海書樓般含道樓址需拆建, 「學海書樓」把全部藏書寄存於中區大會堂公共圖 書館。至 2001 年,三萬多冊藏書再遷移至香港中央圖書館繼續供讀者在館內閱讀,令一個世 紀以來在香港的國學香火得以延續。 賴恬昌幼承庭訓,國學根底深厚。1942年畢業於香港大學英文系,中英兼擅。翌年考入重 慶國民政府外交部,1944年至1948年派駐英國倫敦中華民國大使館,從事有關中華文化事務。 1949 年回香港,任教於聖保羅書院(St. Paul’s College)及香港大學英文系。1963 年赴英國曼徹…
