Yin)於 2024 年 1 月 7 日安祥逝世。遺屬於 1 月 16日星期二上午11時於臺灣臺北市辛亥路第二殯儀館景仰樓，舉行簡易追思禮拜。「扶輪 出版委員會」前主任委員暨國際扶輪前理事謝三連、前總監黃金豹、謝炎盛、蕭慶淋、洪武男 等前往致哀。「台灣扶輪出版暨網路資訊協會」秘書長王友民、執行秘書邵玉楚、秘書處職員 賴豐富三人，奉派代表該會暨邱世文理事長弔唁。 尹彤於 1925 年生於中國大陸江蘇省。他畢業於蘇州一所通信技術學院，曾加入中華民國 空軍擔任信號官；曾在臺灣石門水庫建設工程擔任翻譯；也曾在國防部工作過。 1960年6 月，尹彤開始擔任臺北扶輪社(Taipei Rotary Club)的執行秘書。臺北社是第二 次世界大戰後，臺灣第一個復社的扶輪社（英語社）。他奉命將扶輪的重要出版物，包括《扶 輪程序手冊》(Manual of Procedure)譯成中文，提供給該社輔導成立的國語社及台語社參考。 他在臺北社理事會邀請下，於 1962年7月加入該社為現職社員。 尹彤自中文《扶輪季刊》創刊未久，即開始投稿譯稿，並於 1988 年 7 月起應聘擔任《扶 輪雙月刊》主編。他於 1990 年 7 月經「扶輪出版委員會」核准，將雙月刊改為月刊。在華語 成為國際扶輪支援語文之前， 「扶輪出版委員會」參與國際扶輪的翻譯試辦計畫。由尹彤在主 編任內負責每年譯印二十多本重要扶輪出版物，用於訓練扶輪社的職員及各委員會主委。每三…
