Lawyer Yu (Taipei South) 虞舜(臺北南區)

Yu Shun (虞舜, 1912–1998) was a distinguished jurist in the Republic of China and a key figure in Taiwanese Rotary history. Initially a member of the Rotary Club of Taipei North District in 1968, he played a central role in founding the Rotary Club of Taipei South District. The club’s formation began on July 18, 1968, and after preparatory meetings in early 1969 attracted over forty members, the temporary club was established on February 11, 1969. It was officially admitted to Rotary International on May 14, 1969, with a charter ceremony held at Taipei’s Grand Hotel on July 1. Yu also served as International Rotary 345 Regional Director from 1978 to 1979, overseeing northern Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Macau.

Yu Shun (虞舜, 1912–1998) foi um jurista distinto na República da China e uma figura central na história do Rotary em Taiwan. Inicialmente membro do Rotary Club do Distrito Norte de Taipei em 1968, desempenhou papel fundamental na fundação do Rotary Club do Distrito Sul de Taipei. A formação do clube começou em 18 de julho de 1968 e, após reuniões preparatórias no início de 1969 que atraíram mais de quarenta membros, o clube provisório foi estabelecido em 11 de fevereiro de 1969. Foi oficialmente admitido no Rotary International em 14 de maio de 1969, com uma cerimônia de charter no Grand Hotel de Taipei em 1º de julho. Yu também serviu como Diretor Regional do Rotary Internacional 345 de 1978 a 1979, supervisionando o norte de Taiwan, Hong Kong e Macau.

虞舜（1912–1998）是中华民国著名法学家，也是台湾扶轮社历史上的重要人物。1968年，他原为台北北区扶轮社成员，积极促成台北南区扶轮社的成立。该社于1968年7月18日开始筹备，1969年初召开多次准备会议，吸引四十余名各行业会员，临时社于1969年2月11日成立。5月14日正式获国际扶轮社接纳，7月1日在台北圆山大饭店金龙厅举办成立典礼。虞舜后于1978至1979年间担任国际扶轮345区区域总监，主管台湾北部、香港及澳门地区事务。
