Keats S. Chu (1894–1972), a Zhejiang-born textile industrialist educated at Tsinghua and the University of Wisconsin, was instrumental in developing China’s wool textile industry. As general manager of Renli Industrial Company in Tianjin, he transformed the firm into a leading manufacturer. Chu served as president of the Tianjin Rotary Club (1946–1947) and was Rotary International district governor for District 98 (1948–1949) and District 59 (1950–1951), managing northern Chinese clubs. He resigned following political changes after the establishment of the People’s Republic of China and during the Korean War. Active in both business and politics, Chu supported the “Resist America, Aid Korea” campaign, donating a jet fighter and visiting frontline troops. He founded the Tianjin Tuberculosis Hospital in 1941 and adapted to socialist policies after 1949, assisting industrial transition until his death.

Como gerente geral da Renli Industrial Company em Tianjin, transformou a empresa em um dos principais fabricantes. Chu foi presidente do Rotary Club de Tianjin (1946–1947) e governador distrital da Rotary International para o Distrito 98 (1948–1949) e Distrito 59 (1950–1951), gerenciando clubes no norte da China. Renunciou após mudanças políticas com a fundação da República Popular da China e durante a Guerra da Coreia. 朱继圣 (1894–1972),浙江籍纺织工业家,曾就读清华大学和威斯康星大学,是中国羊毛纺织工业的重要推动者。作为天津仁立实业公司的总经理,他将公司发展为主要制造企业。朱继圣曾任天津扶轮社社长(1946–1947),并担任扶轮国际第98区(1948–1949)及第59区(1950–1951)区长,负责华北地区扶轮社务。中华人民共和国成立及朝鲜战争期间,他辞去扶轮社职务。朱继圣在商界和政界积极参与,支持“抗美援朝”运动,捐赠战斗机并慰问前线志愿军。他于1941年创办天津结核病医院,1949年后接受社会主义政策,协助产业转型直至逝世。
