Lin Chi-Chun (1897–1968) was a Shanghai-born ceramic engineer and industrialist, distinguished as the only district governor from the Peiping (北平) Rotary Club in the history of Rotary International in China. After studying in the United States and working in American industry, Lin returned to China in the early 1920s and co-founded China Ceramics Company, which eventually failed due to foreign competition. He then led Renli Industrial Co. in Beiping, growing it into a major carpet manufacturing enterprise in North China. Lin served as president of the Peiping Rotary Club from 1946 to 1947 and as district governor overseeing multiple northern provinces from 1947 to 1948. He helped secure a Rotary Foundation scholarship for Tsinghua University graduate Cheng Che-Min. Following the Communist takeover in 1949, Lin participated in socialist industrial reforms and joined the Chinese Democratic National Construction Association until the Cultural Revolution. He died in 1968 and was posthumously rehabilitated as a patriotic industrialist.
