PDG Liu Lit Mo 廖烈武 – DG 1994-1995

Dr. Liu Lit Mo, MBE, HonLLD, JP, served as Rotary International District 3450 Governor from 1994 to 1995, overseeing 43 clubs in Hong Kong and 4 in Macau. A banker by profession, Liu had over 30 years of community service experience before serving as President of the Hong Kong Island West Rotary Club (香港西區扶輪社) in 1991-1992. During his governorship, he proposed to Rotary International to recognize Mongolia as a Rotary country, facilitating the chartering of the Ulaanbaatar Rotary Club in May 1995. Liu was also deeply involved in local organizations including the Hong Kong Football Association (香港足球總會), Hong Kong Chiu Chow Chamber of Commerce (香港潮州商會), and Chinese Bankers Club. He contributed to education as a trustee of United College and director of Liu Po Shan Memorial College. Liu passed away peacefully in Hong Kong on 12 July 2017 at age 79.

Banqueiro de profissão, Liu acumulou mais de 30 anos de serviço comunitário antes de ser Presidente do Hong Kong Island West Rotary Club (香港西區扶輪社) em 1991-1992. Durante sua governadoria, propôs ao Rotary International o reconhecimento da Mongólia como país Rotary, facilitando a criação do Rotary Club de Ulaanbaatar em maio de 1995. Liu também esteve envolvido em organizações locais, como a Hong Kong Football Association (香港足球總會), a Hong Kong Chiu Chow Chamber of Commerce (香港潮州商會) e o Chinese Bankers Club. Contribuiu para a educação como curador do United College e diretor do Liu Po Shan Memorial College. Liu faleceu pacificamente em Hong Kong em 12 de julho de 2017, aos 79 anos.

廖烈武博士，MBE，榮譽法學博士，太平紳士，於1994至1995年擔任國際扶輪3450地區總監，管理香港43個扶輪社及澳門4個扶輪社。廖博士為銀行家出身，擁有三十多年社區服務經驗，曾於1991-1992年任香港西區扶輪社（香港西區扶輪社）社長。任總監期間，他向國際扶輪提議將蒙古列為扶輪國家，促成1995年5月烏蘭巴托扶輪社的成立。廖博士亦積極參與本地多個團體，包括香港足球總會（香港足球總會）、香港潮州商會（香港潮州商會）及香港銀行華員會。他同時是香港中文大學聯合書院的理事會成員及劉寶山紀念中學的董事。廖博士於2017年7月12日在香港安寧離世，享年79歲。
