臺灣扶輪地區之演進

The evolution of Rotary districts in Taiwan began with the first club established in 1931 during Japanese rule (1895–1945), representing early Rotary influence in the region, including Hong Kong and Macau. Following World War II and Taiwan’s retrocession to the Republic of China in 1945, the Taipei Rotary Club was founded in 1948, marking a new era under ROC administration. From 1948 to 2017, Rotary in Taiwan expanded significantly through multiple district reorganizations. Initially linked to a Japan-Manchuria Rotary association before WWII, Taiwanese clubs later formed their own districts. Major reorganizations took place in 1960, 1978, 1987, 1998, and 2017, when seven districts were divided into twelve, reflecting the growth and development of Rotary in Taiwan.
