The Honourable Kwok Chan (郭贊) (1904–1967) was a distinguished Hong Kong banker, businessman, and public servant. He served as the 17th President of the Rotary Club of Hong Kong from 1951 to 1952. Born into a prominent Cantonese mercantile family connected to Banque de l’Indochine, he became a compradore in 1929 at age 26. Kwok held key roles in major companies such as Hang Seng Bank (Vice-Chairman from 1960), Hong Kong Electric, and Kowloon Motor Bus. His public service included membership in the Urban Council (1950–1957), Legislative Council (1952–1962), and Executive Council (1959–1960). During the Japanese occupation, he was part of the Chinese Cooperative Council. Kwok contributed extensively to charitable and social organizations, including Tung Wah Hospital, Po Leung Kuk, and St. John Ambulance. He also led sports bodies, serving as President of the Hong Kong Football Association and Asian Football Confederation (both 1954–1956). Honored with the British CBE and French Legion of Honor, he passed away in 1967 at Queen Mary Hospital.

Nascido em uma família mercantil cantonesa proeminente, ligada ao Banque de l’Indochine, tornou-se compradore em 1929 aos 26 anos. Kwok ocupou cargos importantes em grandes empresas como Hang Seng Bank (vice-presidente a partir de 1960), Hong Kong Electric e Kowloon Motor Bus. Atuou também no Conselho Urbano (1950–1957), no Conselho Legislativo (1952–1962) e no Conselho Executivo (1959–1960). Durante a ocupação japonesa, integrou o Conselho Cooperativo Chinês. Contribuiu para organizações sociais e beneficentes, como o Hospital Tung Wah, Po Leung Kuk e St. John Ambulance. Liderou entidades esportivas como presidente da Associação de Futebol de Hong Kong e da Confederação Asiática de Futebol (1954–1956). Foi agraciado com o CBE britânico e a Legião de Honra francesa e faleceu em 1967 no Queen Mary Hospital.
尊敬的郭贊先生(Kwok Chan,郭贊)(1904–1967)是香港著名銀行家、企業家及公共服務人士,於1951至1952年擔任香港扶輪社第十七任社長。郭先生出身廣東商人世家,家族與法屬印度支那銀行(Banque de l’Indochine)有深厚淵源,1929年26歲時擔任買辦。戰後,他在恒生銀行(1960年起任副主席)、香港電燈及九龍巴士等多間重要公司擔任董事。公共職務包括1950至1957年城市議會、1952至1962年立法局以及1959至1960年行政局成員。日佔時期,他曾任華人協力會成員。郭贊積極支持東華三院、保良局及聖約翰救傷隊等慈善教育機構,並領導體育組織,擔任香港足球總會及亞洲足球總會主席(均為1954至1956年)。他獲得英國CBE及法國榮譽軍團勳章,1967年於瑪麗醫院逝世,享年67歲。
