The 11th Annual Conference of District 345 Rotary International

The 11th Annual Conference of Rotary International District 345 took place in 1971, convened by District Governor Calvin C. Chang of the Taipei Rotary Club. The opening ceremony was held on March 12 at Chung Shan Hall in Yang Ming Shan, Taipei, presided over by Conference Chairman Koo Chen-Fu from the Taipei West Rotary Club. The keynote speech was delivered by Yen Chia-Kan, Vice President of the Republic of China and charter president of the Taipei Rotary Club in 1948. Koo Chen-Fu was also the Managing Director of Taiwan Cement Corporation. Rotarians from Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Macau attended the event. The conference concluded on March 14 with a closing ceremony at a luxury hotel in Taipei, followed by a domestic fashion show to entertain guests.

A 11ª Conferência Anual do Distrito 345 do Rotary International realizou-se em 1971, convocada pelo Governador do Distrito, Calvin C. Chang, do Rotary Club de Taipei. A cerimônia de abertura ocorreu em 12 de março no Chung Shan Hall, em Yang Ming Shan, Taipei, presidida pelo Presidente da Conferência, Koo Chen-Fu, do Rotary Club Taipei Oeste. O discurso principal foi feito por Yen Chia-Kan, Vice-Presidente da República da China e presidente fundador do Rotary Club de Taipei em 1948. Koo Chen-Fu também era Diretor Executivo da Taiwan Cement Corporation. Rotaryans de Taiwan, Hong Kong e Macau participaram do evento. A conferência encerrou em 14 de março com uma cerimônia de fechamento num hotel de luxo em Taipei, seguida por um desfile de moda nacional para entreter os convidados.

1971年，國際扶輪345地區第十一屆年會由臺北扶輪社區長張長昌主持召開。3月12日開幕典禮於臺北陽明山中山樓舉行，年會主席為臺北西區扶輪社的辜振甫。中華民國副總統、1948年臺北扶輪社創社社長嚴家淦致主旨演講。辜振甫亦為臺灣水泥股份有限公司常務董事。來自臺灣、香港及澳門的扶輪社員參加此次年會。會議於3月14日在臺北市一家豪華酒店舉行閉幕典禮，隨後舉辦國產時裝表演以娛樂嘉賓。
