國際扶輪社三四五地區第二十五屆年會

The 25th Annual Conference of Rotary International District 345 took place from March 21 to 23, 1985, at Yangmingshan Zhongshan Hall and Taipei’s Grand Hotel. Under the leadership of Governor Ricardo Lin from Taipei East Rotary Club, the event marked the district’s silver jubilee with 1,402 participants from Hong Kong, Macau, Japan, and northern Taiwan, achieving over 80% attendance. Despite challenges like venue shifts, budget concerns, and transportation logistics for more than a thousand guests, careful planning and support from business leaders and volunteers ensured a successful conference. Key features included a multinational golf tournament, discussions on dividing District 345, a banquet with the Tianyun Choir, and addresses by former President Yen Chia-kan and Vice President Lee Teng-hui. The event concluded with a grand Silver Jubilee banquet. A vote was passed to split the district, creating District 348 in 1987 for northern Taiwan. The conference is remembered for its excellent organization and strong Rotary fellowship.

A 25ª Conferência Anual do Distrito 345 do Rotary International realizou-se de 21 a 23 de março de 1985, no Yangmingshan Zhongshan Hall e no Grand Hotel de Taipei. Sob a liderança do Governador Ricardo Lin, do Rotary Club Taipei East, o evento celebrou o jubileu de prata do distrito com 1.402 participantes provenientes de Hong Kong, Macau, Japão e norte de Taiwan, alcançando mais de 80% de presença. Apesar de desafios como mudanças de local, questões orçamentárias e logística de transporte para mais de mil convidados, um planejamento cuidadoso e o apoio de líderes empresariais e voluntários garantiram o sucesso da conferência. Destaques incluíram um torneio multinacional de golfe, discussões sobre a divisão do Distrito 345, um banquete com o Coro Tianyun, e discursos do ex-presidente Yen Chia-kan e do vice-presidente Lee Teng-hui. O evento terminou com um grandioso banquete do jubileu de prata. Foi aprovada a divisão do distrito, criando o Distrito 348 em 1987 para o norte de Taiwan. A conferência é lembrada pela sua excelente organização e forte fraternidade rotária.

國際扶輪社三四五地區第二十五屆年會於1985年3月21日至23日在陽明山中山樓及台北圓山大飯店舉行。此次盛會在台北東扶輪社林立果總監領導下，慶祝地區銀禧紀念，吸引來自香港、澳門、日本及台灣北部共1,402位參加者，出席率超過80%。儘管面臨場地變動、預算和一千多名賓客交通等挑戰，透過精密規劃及企業領袖與志工支持，會議順利進行。活動亮點包括國際高爾夫球賽、地區分割提案、天韻合唱團晚宴，以及前總統嚴家淦與副總統李登輝的重要演講。銀禧晚宴規模盛大，活動圓滿落幕。會中通過決議，於1987年將三四五地區分割，成立以台灣北部為主的三四八地區。此年會以卓越組織與深厚扶輪情誼著稱。
