Jackson San-Lien Hsieh (謝三連), born August 1, 1951 in Chiayi County, Taiwan, is a prominent figure in Rotary International, serving as the fifth International Director from the Republic of China. He is a founding member and past president of the Rotary Club of Taipei Sunrise (1991-1993), and served as District Governor for District 3520 in 1998-1999. Hsieh has held numerous leadership roles within Rotary, including advisory and training positions at international assemblies and institutes across Asia and globally from 1992 to 2008. Professionally, he leads Amin International Corp. and has an MBA from Tulane University. He is recognized for significant philanthropy, including cumulative donations exceeding US$510,000 to The Rotary Foundation, and has received multiple awards such as the Paul Harris Fellow, Service Above Self Award, and Distinguished Service Award. Hsieh also engages in various cultural, educational, and public service organizations in Taipei. In 2008, he and other Rotary leaders met with Taiwan’s President Ma Ying-jeou to discuss ongoing collaboration on social and economic development.
