Kowloon Rotary Club – Project Mobile Dental Clinic

In 1968, the Rotary Club of Kowloon, Hong Kong, donated a fully equipped mobile dental clinic to the Lutheran World Service. The compact clinic provided dental surgery and served over 25,000 patients, significantly improving access to dental healthcare. At the time, the Lutheran World Service was led by Rev. Karl Ludwig Stumpf, a German pastor and former president of the Rotary Club of Kowloon (1964–1965). The clinic’s dental services were notably supported by Dr. Tung Yan Chi, a skilled dentist.

Em 1968, o Rotary Club de Kowloon, Hong Kong, doou uma clínica odontológica móvel totalmente equipada ao Lutheran World Service. A clínica compacta oferecia cirurgias dentárias e atendeu mais de 25.000 pacientes, melhorando significativamente o acesso aos cuidados odontológicos. Na época, o Lutheran World Service era liderado pelo reverendo Karl Ludwig Stumpf, um pastor alemão e ex-presidente do Rotary Club de Kowloon (1964–1965).
