Interota 2020 Hong Kong

Interota 2020 Hong Kong was the 14th worldwide Rotaract convention held virtually from June 5 to 9, 2021, organized by Rotary International District 3450. Themed “Leverage Youth Power | Level Up The World,” it gathered over 1,800 participants from 91 countries. Key figures included Rotary International President Holger Knaack, director Surgeon Liu, and sustainability innovator Katharina Unger. Activities featured cultural exchanges, discussions on Rotaract’s future, Hong Kong craft and cooking workshops, and a virtual cultural night raising HK$15,000 for charity. A 2020-minute service marathon engaged local volunteers during the COVID-19 pandemic. The conference concluded with panels on culture and tourism, awarded THE ONE Humanitarian Awards, and announced Tunisia as host of Interota 2023. The event highlighted youth leadership, cultural diversity, and global service collaboration within the Rotaract community.

Interota 2020 Hong Kong foi a 14ª convenção mundial da Rotaract, realizada virtualmente de 5 a 9 de junho de 2021, organizada pelo Distrito 3450 do Rotary International. Com o tema “Aproveitar o Poder da Juventude | Elevar o Mundo”, reuniu mais de 1.800 participantes de 91 países. As principais figuras incluíram o presidente do Rotary International, Holger Knaack, o diretor Surgeon Liu e a inovadora em sustentabilidade Katharina Unger. As atividades incluíram intercâmbios culturais, discussões sobre o futuro da Rotaract, oficinas de artesanato e culinária de Hong Kong, além de uma noite cultural virtual que arrecadou HK$15.000 para caridade. Uma maratona de serviço de 2020 minutos engajou voluntários locais durante a pandemia de COVID-19. A conferência concluiu com painéis sobre cultura e turismo, entrega dos Prêmios Humanitários THE ONE e anunciou a Tunísia como anfitriã da Interota 2023.
