The 2024 Council on Legislation Representative Learning Seminar, held in Taipei, provided critical training for Rotary International legislative representatives from Zones 1B, 9, and 10. Organized and led by a former representative from District 3510 with extensive legal experience, the seminar was conducted entirely in English per Rotary International standards. Legislative representatives, elected for three-year terms by their districts, are responsible for voting on Resolutions and Enactments that govern Rotary. The seminar included a history of the Council on Legislation, procedural training for the upcoming Chicago meeting, and a mock council session to practice debating and voting on proposals. Thirty-two representatives and their alternates from 32 districts attended, emphasizing the importance of prioritizing Rotary’s global welfare. The author highlights the seminar’s role in member development and encourages engagement in these leadership positions.

O Seminário de Aprendizagem para Representantes do Conselho de Legislação de 2024, realizado em Taipei, ofereceu treinamento essencial para representantes legislativos da Rotary International das Zonas 1B, 9 e 10. Organizado e conduzido por um ex-representante do Distrito 3510 com ampla experiência jurídica, o seminário foi ministrado inteiramente em inglês conforme os padrões da Rotary. Os representantes legislativos, eleitos por seus distritos para mandatos de três anos, são responsáveis por votar em Resoluções e Leis que regem a Rotary. O seminário incluiu a história do Conselho de Legislação, treinamento procedural para a reunião de Chicago e uma simulação para praticar debates e votações. Trinta e dois representantes e seus suplentes participaram, destacando a importância de priorizar o bem-estar global da Rotary.
