The 2024 Taipei Rotary Institute took place from November 29 to December 1 at the Taipei Grand Hotel, hosted by Taiwan for Rotary Districts 1B, 9, and 10. Before the event, training sessions for Governor-elects and Governor-nominees were held on November 27-28 by Past District Governors Pauline and Ada, focusing on leadership, member engagement, and Rotary’s four strategic priorities. Over 1,060 participants from 18 countries in the Asia-Pacific region and beyond attended the institute. The program included seminars on district training and the Rotary Foundation, cultural tours, and plenary sessions featuring International Rotary President Stephanie A. Urchick, former Rotary International President Gary Huang, and other leaders. Discussions focused on sustainability, membership growth, and polio eradication, highlighting Taiwan’s innovative Rotary clubs. The institute ended with forums on operational efficiency, climate action, artificial intelligence, and membership strategies. A press conference emphasized Rotary’s dedication to inclusive growth, global service, peace, leadership, and community development.
