Charter Presentation of Shanghai Central Rotary Club – 上海城中扶輪社創社授證典禮

The Shanghai Central Rotary Club was officially chartered on March 8 at the Millennium Seagull Hotel, Shanghai. Nearly 200 guests attended, including notable Rotary leaders such as PRIP Gary (Rotary International President 2014-15), SR Frank (Rotary China Special Representative), and representatives from 13 Rotary clubs across mainland China, Taiwan, and Japan. Li Zhenghong, President of the Shanghai Taiwanese Chamber of Commerce, was also present, highlighting strong cross-strait connections. CP Frank, the club’s charter president, received the “Rotary Distinguished Service” medal along with the official Rotary International charter. The club’s formation was supported by mentorship from Taipei Central Rotary Club and founding funds from Shanghai Puxi Rotary Club. The event emphasized Rotary’s service values, with CP Frank committing to the Four-Way Test and promoting service, learning, and unity among Taiwan Strait industry leaders to advance Rotary’s mission in China.

O Shanghai Central Rotary Club foi oficialmente constituído em 8 de março no Millennium Seagull Hotel, em Xangai. Cerca de 200 convidados participaram, incluindo líderes importantes do Rotary, como o PRIP Gary (Presidente do Rotary International 2014-15), SR Frank (Representante Especial para o Rotary na China) e delegados de 13 clubes Rotary da China continental, Taiwan e Japão. Li Zhenghong, Presidente da Câmara de Comércio Taiwanesa de Xangai, também esteve presente, destacando fortes laços entre os dois lados do Estreito de Taiwan. O presidente fundador CP Frank recebeu a medalha “Serviço Distinto do Rotary” junto com a carta oficial do Rotary International. A criação do clube contou com orientação do Taipei Central Rotary Club e fundos do clube Shanghai Puxi Rotary. O evento enfatizou os valores de serviço do Rotary, com CP Frank comprometendo-se com o Teste dos Quatro Caminhos para promover serviço, aprendizado e unidade entre líderes industriais do Estreito de Taiwan e avançar a missão do Rotary na China.

上海城中扶轮社于3月8日在上海海鸥千禧酒店正式授证成立。近200名嘉宾出席，包括知名扶轮领导如国际扶轮前会长PRIP Gary（2014-15年度）、扶轮中国特别代表Frank及来自中国大陆、台湾和日本13个扶轮社的代表。上海台湾商会会长李正宏也出席，体现两岸密切联系。创社会长Frank获得“扶轮杰出服务”奖章及国际扶轮社正式授证。该社由台北中央扶轮社指导，获得上海浦西扶轮社的创始资金支持。仪式强调扶轮的服务精神，Frank会长承诺践行“四方测试”，致力促进两岸产业精英的服务、学习与团结，推动扶轮在中国的发展使命。
