Asia Pacific Regional Rotaract Conference 2019 in Kaohsiung, Taiwan

The 16th Asia Pacific Regional Rotaract Conference took place from September 4 to 7, 2019, at the Grand Hi Lai Hotel in Kaohsiung, Taiwan. After six years, Rotarians and Rotaractors from 15 countries gathered to promote young leadership, international understanding, and Taiwan’s culture. Hosted by the Taiwan Rotary Clubs Association and Rotary International District 3510, the event featured a keynote speech by Alex, cultural workshops on traditional crafts, and a Rotaract Carnival with international cuisine and games. Participants engaged in community service and toured local sites like Liudui Hakka Cultural Park and the Pier-2 Art Center. The conference focused on international service, cultural exchange, and supporting local economic growth, aiming to expand young leaders’ global perspectives and raise Taiwan’s international profile.

A 16ª Conferência Regional Rotaract da Ásia-Pacífico ocorreu de 4 a 7 de setembro de 2019, no Grand Hi Lai Hotel em Kaohsiung, Taiwan. Após seis anos, rotarianos e rotaractianos de 15 países reuniram-se para promover a liderança jovem, o entendimento internacional e a cultura de Taiwan. Organizado pela Associação de Clubes Rotários de Taiwan e o Distrito 3510 do Rotary International, o evento apresentou palestra com Alex, oficinas culturais de artesanato tradicional e um Carnaval Rotaract com culinária internacional e jogos. Os participantes participaram de serviço comunitário e visitaram locais como o Parque Cultural Hakka Liudui e o Pier-2 Art Center. O congresso focou em serviço internacional, intercâmbio cultural e apoio ao crescimento econômico local, visando ampliar a visão global dos jovens líderes e elevar o perfil internacional de Taiwan.

第16届亚太地区Rotaract会议于2019年9月4日至7日在台湾高雄大鲁閣草衙道酒店举办。时隔六年，来自15个国家的扶轮社和扶轮青年服务团成员齐聚一堂，旨在促进青年领导力、增强国际视野并推广台湾文化。此次会议由台湾扶轮社联合会与国际扶轮3510地区联合主办。会议亮点包括Alex的主题演讲、传统手工艺文化工作坊以及汇聚国际美食和游戏的扶轮青年嘉年华。参会者参与了社区服务并参观了六堆客家文化园区、驳二艺术特区等当地旅游及社会福利活动场所。会议强调国际服务、文化交流与地方经济促进，致力于拓展青年领袖的全球视角，提升台湾的国际形象。
