The 11th Annual Conference of District 345 Rotary International

The 11th Annual Conference of Rotary International District 345 was held in 1971 under the leadership of District Governor Calvin C. Chang from the Taipei Rotary Club. The opening ceremony took place on March 12 at Chung Shan Hall in Yang Ming Shan, Taipei, chaired by Conference Chairman Koo Chen-Fu, who also served as Managing Director of Taiwan Cement Corporation. Vice President Yen Chia-Kan of the Republic of China, the founding president of the Taipei Rotary Club in 1948, delivered the keynote address. Attendees came from Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Macao. The plenary sessions were held at the Culture Hall. This conference highlighted the active involvement of prominent figures from Taiwan’s civic and industrial communities within the Rotary International organization.

A 11ª Conferência Anual do Distrito 345 do Rotary International foi realizada em 1971 sob a liderança do Governador Distrital Calvin C. Chang, do Rotary Club de Taipei. A cerimônia de abertura ocorreu em 12 de março no Chung Shan Hall, em Yang Ming Shan, Taipei, presidida pelo presidente da conferência, Koo Chen-Fu, que também era diretor-gerente da Taiwan Cement Corporation. O vice-presidente da República da China, Yen Chia-Kan, fundador do Rotary Club de Taipei em 1948, proferiu o discurso principal. Participaram delegados de Taiwan, Hong Kong e Macau. As sessões plenárias foram realizadas no Culture Hall. O evento destacou a participação ativa de figuras destacadas dos setores cívico e industrial de Taiwan na comunidade Rotary International.

第一三四五地区国际扶轮社第十一届年会于1971年举行，由台北扶轮社的区总监张吉昌（Calvin C. Chang）领导。开幕式于3月12日在台北阳明山中山堂举行，由大会主席辜振甫主持，辜振甫同时兼任台湾水泥公司总经理。中华民国副总统严家淦，1948年台北扶轮社创社社长，发表了主题演讲。会议参会者来自台湾、香港及澳门，主会场设于文化厅。此次大会彰显了台湾社会及工业界重要人士在国际扶轮社中的积极参与。
