Peter K. P. Hall (Hong Kong Island East) 賀錦平 (香港東區)

Peter K. P. Hall (1925–2016), known as “Uncle Peter,” was a prominent member of the Rotary Club of Hong Kong Island East and served as the 22nd Governor of Rotary International District 345 (covering Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Macao) from 1981 to 1982. He was the club’s second district governor since its 1954 founding and previously served as Director of the Tung Wah Group of Hospitals (1960–1961). Over a 55-year Rotary career, Hall actively promoted membership growth and helped establish new clubs in Taiwan, Hong Kong, Macao, and Mongolia, notably conducting the 1994 site survey that led to Mongolia’s Rotary admission. Additionally, he supported Hong Kong Scouting for nearly 50 years, earning multiple awards including the 3-Star Long Service Medal (2008), Distinguished Service Medal (1975), and Bronze Dragon Medal (1989) for his dedicated volunteer service.
