2026 Taipei Rotary International Convention #3 – 2026 台北國際扶輪年會

The 2026 Taipei Rotary International Convention, held from June 12-18, saw enthusiastic participation from Japanese Rotary members, with around 4,886 registered attendees from Japan, plus an estimated 7,000 to 8,000 including family. The “Team Japan” promotion, led by RI Director Mizuno and former district governors, successfully boosted attendance through regional campaigns and friendly competition among districts, culminating in Tokyo’s 2650 district winning. A highlight was the Japanese Rotary breakfast on June 14 at the Grand Hotel, attracting over 1,100 participants and featuring traditional Chinese dishes. President Lai spoke warmly about Taiwan-Japan friendship and disaster support during the event. Japanese members actively engaged in four forums on topics including the Yoneyama Scholarship, peace promotion, environmental protection, and action enhancement, showcasing creativity and cultural exchange. Other memorable moments included a traditional Japanese festival performance and a flag-raising ceremony at Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall, emphasizing peace and camaraderie between Taiwan and Japan.

A Convenção Internacional do Rotary de Taipei de 2026, realizada de 12 a 18 de junho, contou com a entusiástica participação dos membros rotarianos do Japão, com cerca de 4.886 inscritos, além de aproximadamente 7.000 a 8.000 incluindo familiares. A promoção “Team Japan”, liderada pelo Diretor RI Mizuno e ex-governadores distritais, aumentou com sucesso a participação por meio de campanhas regionais e competição amigável entre distritos, culminando na vitória do distrito 2650 de Tóquio. Um destaque foi o café da manhã rotário japonês em 14 de junho no Grand Hotel, com mais de 1.100 participantes e pratos tradicionais chineses. O presidente Lai elogiou a amizade e o apoio entre Taiwan e Japão durante desastres. Membros japoneses participaram ativamente de quatro fóruns sobre Bolsa Yoneyama, promoção da paz, proteção ambiental e aumento da ação, destacando criatividade e intercâmbio cultural. Outros momentos marcantes incluíram a apresentação de um festival japonês tradicional e a cerimônia de hasteamento da bandeira no Memorial Chiang Kai-shek, enfatizando paz e amizade entre Taiwan e Japão.

2026年6月12日至18日舉行的2026台北國際扶輪年會，日本扶輪社友熱情參與，共有約4,886人註冊，加上家屬總計超過7,000至8,000人。由扶輪國際理事水野率領的「Team Japan」團隊透過全日本各地的推廣與區域間的競賽，大幅提升報名人數，最終由東京2650區獲勝。6月14日在圓山飯店舉行日本扶輪早餐會，吸引1,100多人參加，提供傳統中式早餐。賴總統在會中致詞，強調台日友誼與災難支援的重要。日方社友積極參與四場分組論壇，探討米山獎學金、和平推廣、環境保護與行動力提升，展現創意及文化交流。活動亮點還包括日本祭典表演及6月15日中正紀念堂升旗典禮，體現台日友誼與和平精神。
